An alternative to Hold'em Manager 3

Hold'em Manager 3 is the other long-standing tracker. What changes if you switch, and what does not.

2026-09-28

What each one costs

Hold'em Manager 3: $65 for Hold'em at small stakes, $100 for all stakes, $160 with Omaha. Paid once.

One year of updates included, then an optional maintenance plan. A 14-day trial, then a version with fewer features.

Poker Exploit: the tracker, the HUD and Player Profiles free for good. Pro €150 a year, Elite €300 a year.

What you gain by switching

The tracker, the HUD and Player Profiles, free for good.

Reveal: what the players at your stakes showed down in a spot, with the sample beside each figure.

A solver that starts from your own hands and plays against what your field actually showed.

The rake set apart: what the room took, beside what you won or lost.

The HUD over your tables

Six statistics per player, from the hands you played against them, each with its hand count: forty hands never look like four thousand.

No read on someone yet? The row underneath shows the field at that stake and table size, from your own history, marked as the field.

It never shows a recommended action: that is real-time assistance, the rooms forbid it, and it costs accounts.

Results, with the rake set apart

Results shows your win rate with its interval: how far the figure can be trusted, not only the figure.

Beside it, the rake by room and stake: what the room took, next to what you won or lost against the players.

Many regulars lose to the rake rather than to the players. Seeing both lines is how you find out which one is yours.

Reveal: the field at your stakes

Describe a spot, for example a check-raise on the turn at your stake: Reveal shows what the players there showed down when they took that line.

The sample sits beside each figure: you see how many hands stand behind every answer.

It reads your own history and nothing else. It is part of Pro.

Working on one leak

Plan picks one leak to work on, then measures it again at real tables: did it change or not?

Sparring deals you decisions from hands like yours and times each answer, so practice looks like the table.

The solver starts from your own hands and plays against what your field actually showed: one solve a day free, without limit in Elite.

A session, start to finish

Before: Import finds your rooms' folders on its own, then reads every new hand as you play it.

During: the HUD over your tables, and nothing that tells you what to do.

After: the Dashboard tells you in a minute how it went, and the Replayer plays back the hands that matter, street by street, with the equity at each step.

Coach answers questions about your game from your own database, and refuses any hand from the session you are still playing.

What Hold'em Manager 3 does that we don't

Omaha. Poker Exploit reads No-Limit Hold'em only.

More rooms. Poker Exploit reads PokerStars, Winamax, partypoker, 888poker and Winning Poker Network; iPoker in beta.

Ready-made views of c-bets, 3-bets and river play, refined over years.

Switching

Your old hand histories import as they are: they are the room's files, not Hold'em Manager's.

Your notes and colours come with you.

Who should stay with Hold'em Manager 3

If you play Omaha: Poker Exploit reads No-Limit Hold'em only.

If your room is not in the list above yet: check it before anything else.

If your study lives in its ready-made views and you have tuned them for years: that work does not move across.

Running both for a while

Nothing stops you keeping Hold'em Manager 3 while you try: both read the files your room writes, and neither needs the other.

Keep one HUD over a table at a time: two panels on the same seat cover each other.

Import your old histories once; from then on, each new hand reaches Poker Exploit as you play it.

Your hands stay on your computer

The database lives on your disk. No hand leaves it unless you send it yourself.

The Solver's strategy on the matrix: every starting hand coloured by what it plays on K-7-2, check, a third of the pot, three quarters or all-in.
